Cannes was a city located in France.
It was well-known for its' annual film festival.
The Cannes Airport was also located here.

In 1990, the Justice League Europe as well as two members of the Justice League America were at the film festival.
The low-level supervillain Movie Buff was also there, and he narrowly escaped the Justice Leaguers by turning into Winki the dog, from a G-Rated movie.[2]
