The end of the world refers to a time when life is wiped out from an inhabited planet, or it can also refer to the complete destruction of a planet itself. On Earth, many humans have referred to such an end to their world as Armageddon.
From the context of the Kryptonians, the "end of the world," their world, that is; happened in 1941 when it exploded.[2]
A group of alien visitors from another world come to Earth and find that all life on the planet had become extinct due to a battle between the Justice League and the Legion of Doom.
Using their seemingly magical abilities, they turn back time and prevent the end of the world from occurring.[3]
