A duck[1]
A duck was an aquatic bird. One type of duck was called a mallard.
Ducks were typically seen around rivers, streams, lakes and other fresh bodies of water.
Ducks seemed to have existed on both Earth and the Water Men Homeworld. Because of this, its' difficult to determine what world ducks were native to.
With many alien cultures with interstellar space flight capabilities, it seems very reasonable to assume that ducks were deposited on a wide variety of worlds throughout the Milky Way Galaxy.

Circa 1976, Holo told Zara he planned to play a game of duck with the Superfriends. This game was identical to the Earth game called chicken.[2]
