Comments:
Dr. Fate along with four other heroes and six villains comprised Kenner's 1985 2nd series figure wave. While Kenner intended to re-release all early figures in conjunction with the 1986 third series wave, Dr. Fate has not been documented as being released. An existing proof card and prototype carded sample provide evidence of the character's intended 3rd series re-release.
