This Domed Fortress was the headquarters of Darkseid when he teamed up with Kalibak, Desaad, Brainiac and Lex Luthor.
It was armed with a ray gun that could be turned on by use of a lever that was inside the dome-shaped building.
Earth 1956[]
On this Earth, or at least on an Earth very similar to it; a bunch of supervillains teamed up to form an alliance. These villains were Darkseid, Kalibak and Desaad of Apokolips; Lex Luthor of Earth and Brainiac of Colu.
They all gathered together in this coastal "Domed Fortress." They likewise built a Giant Robot, or at least they used one to help them in their efforts to kill the Super Friends.
During their conflict, Superman destroyed the Giant Robot and the supervillains were tossed through the stargate, all but Darkseid that is, who escaped through the stargate anyway.[2]

- The Domed Fortress was very similar to other dome headquarters used by the Legion of Doom, such as the Hall of Doom and Domed Retreat. Although the supervillains that appeared in this cartoon were never explicitly referred to as a new lineup of the Legion of Doom, that possibility is very likely based on that fact.
