Doctor Cranum's House (02x1a - The Brain Machine)

Doctor Cranum's house was located on the 'outskirts of Gotham'. It's location on the river, afforded it an excellent view of Metropolis on the river's 'opposite' shore.^[1]

Doctor Cranum used his basement lab to conduct his technological brain experiments.

The SuperFriends TV Show, while not as explicit, does strongly hint at this proximity in the Season 1 episode: Too Hot to Handle (Oct. 20, 1973).
