A diamond is a metastable allotrope of carbon. It is actually very strong, and one of the hardest substances in the world.
They are formed when carbon compounds are put under tremendous heat and pressure.[2]
The teeth of the sawfish are often described as diamond-like.[3]
There are diamonds located near a volcanic fissure in Molesville, but it proved to be difficult for the Mole family to approach them, because the heat was so intense because the fissure was spewing blue flames.[4]
