History[]
Earth-1A[]
No data available.
Earth-616[]
When The Brothers started warring against each other by pitting their greatest heroes against each other; Jubilee of the X-Men wrote about it in her diary. She imagined many heroes from both Earth-616 and New Earth involved in the conflict while writing it, and one of them was Daredevil.[1]
Powers and Abilities[]
Super Powers[]
- Radioactively Enhanced Physiology: It was radiation that gave him his abilities:
- Superhuman Senses: He could tell when a person was lying, and he also had better hearing, smelling, sense of touch, balance, etc.
- Superhuman Endurance: He probably wasn't much tougher than a normal person, but he had far greater pain tolerance. This was well beyond the Human level.
- Telepathy: He had minor telepathic powers, but only after training.
- Telepathic Immunity: He was able to resist people from reading his mind.
Abilities[]
- Peak Human Conditioning: Although his strength and speed were not superhuman, they were at the level of the greatest Olympic athlete.
- Indomitable Will: Daredevil had no fear. This earned him the name "The Man Without Fear."
- Law: In his civilian identity, he was a lawyer.
- Devout Catholic: His faith was extremely important to him. Often times he even viewed his super powers as his "cross" to bear, and a gift from God.
- Interrogation: He had ways of making the bad guys "spill the beans."
- Genius-Level Intellect: He was quite smart; maybe not an actual genius, but gifted at least.
- Investigation: He was a self-taught detective.
Weaknesses[]
- Blindness: Despite all of his senses; sight wasn't one of them, and because of this, it was very difficult for him to "see" videos or photographs.
- Superhuman Sense Disruption: His heightened senses didn't always work to his advantage, after all with such sensitive ears, loud noises could be disruptive and quite painful at times to him.
- Limited Senses: As stated earlier, despite all of his other senses, he still wasn't able to see. Not only that, but his other senses had their limits, and it was possible for a sniper to position himself just beyond his sensory range, and he wouldn't be able to hear the shot from that distance, or he at least might not have known where it was coming from; and he could therefore perceivably have been seriously injured or even killed.
- Water: When he was fully immersed in water, his senses were reduced, making it difficult to determine what direction a certain sound he might have been hearing was coming from.
- Normal Human Body: Aside from his enhanced senses, endurance, reflexes and agility; he was an ordinary Human that could be injured or killed just like everyone else. He didn't have super strength, invulnerability or any type of psychokinetic abilities. At the end of the day he really wasn't much greater on a physical level than any other man.
Equipment[]
Weaponry[]
- Billy Club: This was his weapon of choice, he generally didn't use lethal weapons because killing was against everything he believed in.
