Dan Quayle was an American politician and lawyer that served as a U.S. Representative from 1977 to 1981 and as a U.S. senator from 1981 to 1989 for the state of Indiana.

From 1989 to 1993, he served as the Vice President of the United States under President Bush.



In 1990, in the National Edition of the Daily Planet; the same edition that spoke of the Injustice League acting as superheroes on page one, had an article about Dan Quayle on page three, which stated that Quayle and Gorbachev were set for summit.[1]
