Cyclotron was an android built by Superman. He was then programmed with all the powers and weaknesses of every superhero and supervillain in order to be the Justice League's tactician. Interestingly, Cyclotron was capable of little independent thought.

Powers and Abilities

Super Powers, Volume Three (1986):

  • Coming soon!

  • There have been two different Cyclotrons since the character's premiere:
  • In his first incarnation, he was created as Terry Curtis by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, as an obscure one-shot Superman character. He first appeared in Action Comics, Vol. 1 #21 (February, 1940)[1] where he was a scientist.
  • In his second incarnation, Roy Thomas reinvented Terry Curtis as Cyclotron, a reluctant supervillain, in All-Star Squadron, Vol. 1 #21 (May, 1983)[2] from DC Comics. He was one of the few original villains retroactively added to DC's Golden Age era in the series.
  • Aside from being a superhero, it would appear that the Super Powers version is loosely on the original incarnation.
