Cro-Magnon were the humans that lived during the Upper Paleolithic era. They were the earliest example of the modern homo sapiens.

Although they were more intelligent and more advanced technologically than their Neanderthal ancestors, compared to humans of later eras, they were still quite primitive. They lived mostly in caves or tents and in a nomadic lifestyle at times.

A prehistoric exhibition in the Metropolis Museum of Natural History had Cro-Magnon statues on display in a artificial representation of their natural habitat.[2]
