Sometime around the year 1987, when Pranna of the Circle was trying to breakthrough Superman's mind so as to figure out his role on the Earth, Superman was subjected to an illusion of Lex Luthor, Metallo, Bizarro and Combattor (at this point known as "Synapse") assaulting him.[1]
