Coffee was a brewed beverage that was made from the roasted beans of coffee plants. It was often drank in the morning as part of breakfast, as it was high in caffeine, and good for helping a person stay awake and alert throughout the day.

Coffee was one of the things that Doctor Rebos tried to sell to Batman when he was disguised as a food caterer for Eats and Drinks.[2]
When Steve Trevor visited the Justice League Satellite briefly in his space shuttle, he told her that he didn't have time to stop for coffee.[3]
New Earth[]
On a Friday, Jimmy Olsen gave Perry White a bacon burger and coffee. Although he ate it, he told him it wasn't a good idea because of his ulcer. He even said he would probably die while eating it.[4]
