The Cheetahs were lookalikes of the supervillain called the Cheetah.
They were part of a plot to take over the world concocted by the Legion of Doom.
History[]
Earth 1956[]
In 1978, the Legion of Doom used the JLA Satellite to project a ray capable of transforming all Humans on Earth into Bizarros and Cheetahs.
The males were transformed into Bizarros and the females were turned into Cheetahs. This somehow allowed the Legion to control them so that they would commit robberies and other criminal acts in their behalf.
Their plot was stopped by the Super Friends however, who infiltrated the Hall of Doom by disguising themselves as Bizarros and Cheetahs. The people of Earth were then transformed back into normal Humans.[2]
Successors of Priscilla Rich[]
Eventually there were other women to become Cheetahs, much like Priscilla Rich did.
Deborah Domaine and Barbara Minerva did just that, and perhaps others sometime later.
