A celebrity was any person that was well-known and usually loved by a large number of people due to their talents or fame.
Usually a celebrity was a star of films, a television personality or even a famous singer, musician, dancer or a wealthy individual.

Marvin White and Wendy Harris announced the many celebrity guest stars that were to appear in that year's JLA Super-Thon. They were as followed in alphabetical order: Larry Davis, Daphne Dean, Scott Free, Jeannine Gale, Kathy Kane and her Daredevils, Steve Lombard, Dexter Myles, Chip O'Doole, Wilfred Pennyworth, Gregory Reed, Carlo Di Rienzi, Linda Turner and Zatanna.[2]
