Cartoon

A cartoon was a type of TV show or movie that made use of drawings that appeared to be in motion, due to shooting it frame by frame.

Cartoons were commonly seen on Saturday mornings for a number of years.

There were a number of popular cartoons during the 20th century, such as the Looney Tunes and Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew.
