Buzzard's Roost was a small mining town located in the Western United States.
It appeared to be a very isolated town, located in a mostly rural area, and it had a very low population.

Brainiac once enslaved the people of this town when he used his technology to control their minds by transforming them into "zombie-like beings" or "Human robots" as he called them; since they were without free will, similar to robots responding to nothing but their own programming.
They were forced to mine electrium from the cavern of a nearby mountain, which was used to fuel Brainiac's Skull Ship. Brainiac's plans were to ultimately abduct the townsfolk, bringing them with him into space to use further as his slaves.
Thankfully, the Super Friends; more specifically Wonder Woman, Zan, Jayna and Apache Chief; put a stop to his evil plans and captured him.[3]

There was likely a general store located somewhere in Buzzard's Roost, although the Wonder Twins were never able to find it; and there was also at least one stable. Other locations were as follows:
