A bunk bed was a type of bed that consisted of one bed frame being stacked on top of the other.
They were common in children's bedrooms, and the top bunk was generally accessible by climbing a ladder.

In 1985, Penguin and Felix Faust had a bunk bed in the jail cell that they shared at Metropolis Prison.[2]

On this Earth, or at least in a similar one, Peter Griffin could be seen getting onto the top bunk of a bunk bed and crushing Brian Griffin, who was on the bottom bunk, on a video in 2022 that celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of Cartoon Network.[4]
