The Book of Judges was one of the books of the Hebrew Bible that was most likely written by Samuel.
The book told the story of how the nation of Israel was under the temporary leadership of judges that were appointed by God. The account in this book predated the time when Kings ruled over the land.
The story of Samson's life and death were mentioned in this book, and all of the feats he performed against the Philistines and a lion which he had killed.
The Wonder Twins were familiar with the book, and they mentioned how Seraph had the strength of Samson when they were going to face him in combat.[2]
