A blowgun was a type of gun that usually was loaded with darts.
The marksman then placed his or her mouth against the weapon and blew into it, shooting the dart.

Poison Ivy had a blowgun that had curare tipped thorns inside of them. While holding Harvey Bullock hostage, she used one on him, although the poison wasn't strong enough to kill him.[2]
