Major Disaster was a supervillain and even an occasional superhero; depending on the situation.
He was an enemy of Superman, Green Lantern and the whole Justice League for that matter.
But in surprising moments he would prove to be heroic, or so it seemed anyway. He even spent time serving as a member of one of the Justice League International's branches in Antarctica, which was called the Justice League Antarctica, although this was short lived.
