Armor was a type of protective covering used as a shield, such as an automobile from projectile attacks, such as bullets fired from a gun.
Such automobiles might be armored trucks or tanks or other military vehicles.
Armor has also been used to shield the human body. The Knights of the Round Table were well-known for their style of armor, that was common during the Middle Ages.
Rocket Reds also wore armor, as did superheroes such as Steel; who wore armor made of steel, and Batman; who had a Batsuit that was armored with kevlar.
There was a Knight's body armor on display in the Justice League Hall of Fame, which apparently belonged to one of their enemies.[2]
