American yellow mustard, also called yellow mustard, but usually just mustard; was a type of mustard that was the most common flavor in the United States.
American yellow mustard was generally complemented with tomato ketchup and used as a condiment for hamburgers and hot dogs, and as a salad dressing for egg salad.

In 2023, one of the condiment bottles at the Challenge of the Superfries was a bottle of American yellow mustard. The other bottles were containers for tomato ketchup, relish and either spicy brown mustard or honey mustard.[2]
