37 Pine Street was an apartment complex on Pine Street in the city of Metropolis. It was apparently scheduled for demolition, which Lex Luthor was aware of, so he sent Lois Lane there after exposing her to Brain control gas, which was all part of luring Superman into the range of his transmitter, which was capable of transmitting Kryptonic waves.
